The pax should have been a PPS.
I was given a birthday cake on a TPE-SIN flight when travelling on my birthday. I was PPS then.

Following the change to PPS, I stopped putting my miles on SQ and travel a lot more on CX... Mind you, CX usually upgrades me if I fly on my birthday. I am now DM on CX.

Chocolate cake? Upgrade? Which one would you choose?
