One of my best memories of Copenhagen is of buying a Danish sweet roll from a bakery the first morning I was there (cost--way less than a dollar at the time). It was amazing.

I have never looked at "Danish" in the US the same way since. The look is similar--but not the taste!

Get your take-out coffee, buy a bakery Danish and enjoy.
