That seems to be the case across the board though, since the East (esp NE) is congested and has unpredictable weather. The west is both spread out and the weather is usually consistent (save DEN).
While that definitely plays a role, it seems as if there are just more problems in general with Mesa on the east coast (regardless of what airline they are flying under) than on the west coast. Who knows why??
