Neither is particularly convenient. They both require clearing immigration and customs and then moving over to the domestic terminal for the onward flight. There are buses provided for the transfer and they are the best option but that doesn't make them particularly great.

AI does have a couple domestic departures from the international terminal at BOM but I don't know if PNQ is one of them.
