Talking about hull loss - didn't CI go thru quite a few in the 80s and 90s? - off the end of the runway at old HKG (a brand-new 744!); mid-air disintegration (20+ year old 747 200 series); crash on approach to TPE... (airbus?)

But then again, even SQ had one at TPE too - happens to the best of them perhaps?
