BKK transit and connection questions
Hi Thai forum people,
I have a friend who is connecting from an Air Asia flight SIN-BKK to an EgyptAir flight BKK-CAI, with about 1 1/2 hours to make the connection.
Can anyone confirm please:
- He can stay airside and check in for his MS flight at the transit desk
- No need to pass through immigration (he has a passport that requires a visa to enter Thailand)
- Can he check a bag airside as well, or must he go landside to do that?
- Provided flights are on time, any issues with the connection time?
I'm assuming he can't check his bag through from SIN to CAI.
Thanks!
