I plan on calling them and letting them know, just thought I'd see what you guys think.
LOL, I once checked into a hotel just after 9AM. It was a mattress run at a local Hampton Inn a couple years ago booked for a Sunday night. The hotel was very close to my work but about 15 mins from my house. I decided I didn't wanna drive all the way there on Sunday just to check in and come home, that instead I'd just as soon drive by there on the way to work on Monday, check-in, grab a free breakfast, and checkout. They ran into problems at the front desk finding my reservation as it was WAAAY past the night audit report, but when I told them I was paying for this room until Noon and I expected to be able to check in whenever I wanted up til Noon, they let me check in. ^

Technically according to the Hyatt Web Check-in T&C's, the OP should be able to check-in as early as 3AM local time (which is 9AM ET) without any problems. I've always wondered about something such as this, but never had the guts to try it myself even when I've arrived in Maui around midnight once. But the WEBIN rules state the following:
Hyatt Gold PassportŪ members with eligible reservations may use Hyatt Web Check-In to check in online or via PDA on the day of arrival at participating Hyatt Hotels & ResortsŪ in the U.S., Canada and Caribbean. Hyatt Web Check-In is available beginning at 9:00 a.m. ET for Diamond and Platinum members or 1:00 p.m. ET for Gold members.
I once tried to WEBIN early at GH Indian Wells, but it was extremely busy the weekend I was there and they said they didn't have rooms to put me into. I would think that once you are checked in via WEBIN that you should be checked in and there should be a room for you, but who knows.
But GH Kauai is definitely a participating property (I can even see the WEBIN icon on a future reservation of mine there). That said, WEBIN has been extremely flaky recently in my experience, and attempting this may require a large fight which would include you trying to WEBIN (and possibly failing), plus you having to bring printouts of the T&Cs or at least know exactly how to pull them up on their FastPass Boarding Pass printout station. But if it were me I'd possibly give it a try. That said, the T&Cs above may very well be outdated, even though I just cut and pasted them from the hyatt.com website just a couple minutes ago. I think I've seen a different set of T&Cs that said that Diamonds/Plats could check in at 9AM LOCAL time, rather than 9AM EST.
