To be perfectly clear, the dog in question did not show any signs of being a service animal, was not in an exit row and sat in the seat the whole time.
So what does one do when something like this occurs? I mean, it's obvious that the FAs did nothing to comply with the FAA rules in this instance... Another poster here notes his futile attempts at gaining any response from AS about the barking dog on his way to ANC.
So do I go to the FAA site and make a formal complaint? Have they got a page for that?
To me this is the just laziness on the part of the plane personnel. After reading about the Colgan Air disaster in Buffalo I think that standards need to rigorously applied...
