If you want a wonderful vacation at a quiet Caribbean resort, check out the Hilton Tobago. My spouse and I just spent five days there. Aside from being brand spanking new, they had a very low occupancy rate (about 10%), which of course isn't good for the hotel, but great if you're a guest. Sometimes we had the entire pool area or restaurant to ourselves. This also means they have "value rates" all the time ($192 + tax) if booking in advance. Service was also generally very good.

If you're a gold VIP, a lovely full breakfast for two is included (worth $50). You also get "upgraded" to the highest floor (3rd floor), two free bottles of water every day, welcome drinks, and a free bottle of wine and a huge tropical fruit basket upon arrival!

We had a great vacation! The only minus is that the beach isn't really suitable for swimming due to choppy seas. Try it out before it goes out of business....
