May 15 (Bloomberg) -- Deutsche Lufthansa AG, Europe’s second-biggest airline, said it’s still in talks on buying control of its BMI joint venture in the U.K. and isn’t about to complete the acquisition soon.
Other conditions need to be met before the carrier can conclude the transaction, which was approved yesterday by European Union antitrust regulators, Claudia Lange, a Frankfurt- based Lufthansa spokeswoman, said today in a phone interview. She declined to specify what further terms must be worked out or give a timeframe for the purchase.
