I currently have the Hilton AMEX card, but I am in need of a good VS/MC for regular use. I spend about $4K a month in total spend.

The quandary is I cannot get the Schwab or Fidelity Cash Back card due to being a Registered Rep of another firm. Due to devaluing of various reward programs, finding the best card has become challenging.

Other cards I use are the Merrill +, AA MC (Canceling when fee is due) and Citi Premier Pass. I need a card that will give bonus points for restaurants and travel. I don't care about gas, grocery or drug store as I rarely frequent them. I am OK with an annual fee as long as the rewards are worth it. (I know its subjective)

Note: I have canceled my AMEX Platinum due to the dilution of benefits.
