The saga continues......

I check my HHonors balance today and notice that it seems to be reduced by 3 or 4 thousand points (I'm not sure because I had alot of activity this past month and my detail did not show negative points - they just disappeared). I check my detail and realize they have removed my 2nd profile update from the past 3 or 4 quarters without me knowing.

The CSR who gave me his thoughts on my 2 profile updates per quarter never said a word that he was going to remove the 2nd from each quarter. I called up and had to insist that they reinstate the points. They said they thought I was manipulating the system.

Let me tell you if I could have manipulated the system, I would have had more than 6000 profile bonus points post since I started to update.

The CSR did elude to others taking the system for a major ride (Like 36000 points with no stays). But I wasn't one of them. 2 updates per quarter is what I did, thats what the system gave me.

They should fix the system and put limits on it if they only want to allow 1 per quarter. Not deduct points a year later. If I had obtained 20,000 points with no stays that year, I would understand. But with multiple stays this year. Give me a break.

A supervisor reluctantly put the points back.
