I've gone through with safety pins holding up the hem of trousers and no problems

I've gone through with no metal on, and had the thing go beep. I'd put my hand in my pocket as walking through. Security bod said I should keep hands/arms still walking through...I was sceptical...but re-tried, sure enough no beep.

So adding to spottie's list:
6. have you breathed or made any other inappropriate non-walking movement...then beep
