I merely wished to clarify things because "purchasing prepaid SIM cards with foreign passports is explicitly forbidden" appeared to me to be open to misunderstanding - it could be interpreted as "buying a prepaid SIM card is forbidden if you are a foreign passport holder", which is not the case.

I do not consider FlyerTalk to be an appropriate forum for somewhat rude response as you have exhibited.
