In which case,
TLV-LHR-AMS (2 segments, 160 TP)
AMS-LHR-NRT (2, 160)
NRT-SIN (0, 120) ==> 4 segments and 440 TP, hence Silver
SIN-NRT-LAX (1, 240) (Why connect through HKG?)
LAX-DFW-PIT (0, 120)
PIT-JFK-SFO (0, 200)
SFO-LAX (0, 60)
surface sector
SAN-ORD-LHR-TLV (3, 240) ==> 860 TP and 4 segments
Hmmm... Interesting. I do SIN-LAX via HKG because I was led to believe that CX is superior to JL, and I didn't need the 80 extra TP anyway. I also didn't know (nor can I now see) a BA-coded SIN-NRT available.
Why would SAN-ORD have a BA code but not SFO-ORD or LAX-ORD? And why the surface sector (rather than SFO-SAN)?
Thanks a lot,
Shuly
