I've got to be honest, can't say I disagree. Clearly had you called once the itinerary was done, they would have changed it without a charge. This is a crappy situation for you, but you've got to look at it from their point of view too......how do they know you didn't just change your plans? 3 weeks after booking a ticket is really not a resonable time to come back and say "Delta made an error"
