I stayed at the HGI Franklin Square August 2000. Being new, the rooms are excellent. Fantastic value - I have a $79/nite rate there July 13-15. Location is superb - several blocks from the White House. I did not try the Executive lounge. Restaurant was disappointing, although not wholly unexpected in a hotel restaurant.
