You might have heard of the QF/Hilton Triple Qantas Points offer at the new South Wharf hotel in Melbourne.

Just a tip, when booking through the Hilton Reservations site be 100% sure to choose the link to the Frequent Flyer rate on the Specials page. Then, upon having booked call and double/triple check you are on the correct rate!!!

I am now in the third week of an investigation as to why I have not been given the triple points as I followed every step of this process and had it confirmed to me by a Hilton Diamond Desk operator that I was, indeed, booked into the correct rate to earn the triple points. According to another phone supervisor at HHonors the South Wharf is offering this promotional rate under the same/similar coding to a Bed & Breakfast Rate which is not eligible for points. It has been a real pain to spend 30 minutes on the phone for the last 3 weeks trying to get a resolution, but I was assured just before that I should definitely receive the points soon.

Anyone else have a similar experience?
