Recently, whenever I've gone into a SkyClub that was a former Crown Room Club, I've been carded at the door (asked for photo ID) as well as my boarding pass. This is usually a slight annoyance as my photo ID isn't generally easily accessible and I'm already juggling a laptop bag and a rollaboard so I have to set stuff down, dig out my wallet, pull out my ID, hand it over, etc. It just slows things down.

When i asked the SkyClub folks about this, they explained that presenting ID had actually always been in the CRC rules but that, since they were now being run by NW and under NW rules, NW was forcing them to adhere strictly to the ID rule and card everybody coming into the club.

Any idea how long this will last until we can go back to normalcy, or is the NW way the new normal?
