Agreed. But, any system designed by man will have situations where manual intervention is required. And, I mean this not just in the sense that some things are out of reach of any automated interface, but more toward that some situations need a human to make a judgement call. Personally, I would be concerned with any domain registrar that made it nearly impossible to contact a human on the telephone.
