As Dave posted, the MCT for SYD(Domestic) to SYD(International) is an hour.
You would check in for both flights using the "Domestic Connection to International" counter at MEL T1. You will received both BP's there. Any luggage will be checked through.
On arrival into SYD head straight to the Transfer lounge near gates 1 & 2 they will scan you SYD-SIN BP and you head down the escalator to the waiting lounge for the next bus.
At that time of the day the buses leave every 20 minutes.
When you arrive at international you head up the escalators there, turn right and down a short corridor where you turn left and enter emigration. After those formalities and X-ray/WTMD you should identify you gate and head straight to it. Boarding will commence around 30 minutes before scheduled departure.
