I do, but even in my years of regular long-haul economy flying, I still very, very rarely missed a meal service.

Not that I especially love the food, but for me, a meal and film is a key 'block of time' I can waste, a few hours of the flight where I'm kept occupied. And by now it's just habit, skipping a meal wouldn't feel right. I also think my upbringing - which wasn't at all poor or wanting but not super-privileged by any means - conditioned me to never turn down free food
