The thing is -- in the long run, the FT'ers can't possibly win at their game, because, if they do -- the airline will cease to exist, as no chronically unprofitable entity that gives their product away can remain operating indefinitely. I'd like to see AC survive so that they can continue providing the great, high level of service that they offer (most cities the size of YXE/YQR barely have air service anymore in the US through the regionals -- yet we have many nonstops to YYZ on mainline AC), and I'd like to see AC nuture the customers who pay most of the freight so that the bottom feeders and vacationers actually have an airline that they can enjoy at affordable prices.

Hey I agree, soak the rich so the rest of us can enjoy the fruits of their wealth!
