Consider that I've seen far more complaints then these two. I've been working "behind the curtain" for quite some time and I'm seeing more and more rudeness
Unions are have their hands tied by something called "Duty of Fair Representation" which forces them to represent the slugs with the same zeal as they do the good ones. So before you blame a union look to the laws they must comply with. Just another example of how government need to keeep it's nose out of private enterprise
Personally if the agent annoys me enough for me to whip out a cell phone and click a pic then we're way past me worrying about the police being called. Secondly if I'm taking a pic with my cell he/she is not likely to notice as I wouldn't just shove the phone in someones face.
Thirdly if enough people start to use their cells phones in this manner agents will be forced to clean up their act.
Hey lets be sure to keep in mind that for every terrible GA there is an equally awesome GA. Last month I was traveling with a large group and our first flight was delayed to the point where we knew we would misconnect in PHX. The CSAs in RNO were absolutely phenomenal and were able to get 24 folks accommodated in what I thought was pretty much record time. I and a few others took a DL flight, and others only got in a few hours later on the next flight out of PHX.
All I am saying is that lets keep in mind for every rude US employee lets be sure to recognize (through A&Bs or whatever) that there is probably a few good ones.
