I mean, you guys are just taking this too far. You really are gonna get us banned. I mean, if you use it once in a while for your international flights out of SFO, fine. But to walk in there to take a shower for a domestic mileage run? that clearly is not what this lounge is for!

For those of you who will flame me, I travel out of SFO about 2-3 times per month. how would you like it if I went to the SQ lounge every single time I flew United, took a shower, ate their salmon, and happily showed them my boarding pass to LAX? And how would you like it if I told every single SFO *G I knew to do this? It would get us banned from that lounge so fast.

keep in mind that lounge was built when there was no connecting terminal between the international lounge and domestic terminals. with this inflood of people, they may very well just ban that specific lounge to SQ flyers only. like i said before in this thread, be careful and don't abuse this privelege. they could very well take it away from us fast.
No flaming by me! Very accurate post.

United, as we now know, monitors this forum. SQ, we know, bills United for all these visits by UA passengers. The terminals, we know, are now connected by a passageway that eliminates the need to go through security which wasn't even previously allowed if one didn't have an international BP. Do you actually think that United will continue to allow this and pay for this?

Actually, I hope they do take it away. That way the lounge will be used for its intended purpose, not for people to grab a shower on a domestic mileage run. Talk about gaming the system...

(I'm sure I'll get flamed for this. Whatever...)
