Really bad experience with Hilton - Typical?
Burning mad.
I wrote to Adam Burke some time ago regarding a HORRENDOUS stay I had earlier this year at the (then) Baltimore Hilton.
I offered him the opportunity to respond, and only received a cursory "we'll look into it" email. (This was a "reward" stay which felt like punishment. A/C was broken, Valet took my keys to lunch so he wouldn't miss a tip, and then STOLE approx $5 in change from the change drawer)
As a gold member with 29 nights this year, I would have expected more. I have since suspended my patronage of ALL Hilton properties, and am giving my business to Hyatt. 20 nights since.
Doesn't anybody care anymore?
