SEA - ORD F Lunch (UA 200, May 7)

F offered a choice between a "Salmon Salad" and a "Mesquite Grilled Turkey Sandwich".

I made the mistake of ordering the turkey sandwich: a small dinner roll, cut in half. In between were stuck three slices of Oscar Mayer style sliced deli turkey, smothered in a ton of flavourless, greasy molten cheese, served piping hot. Nothing else, not even a salad leave.

That sandwich was simply disgusting and after trying a bite, I spared my arteries the mountain of fat.

The mess was acompanied by some kind of cold couscous, which was kind of blah (but not really bad), and an industrial-packaged brownie - that I didn't even try after reading the nutrition info. End of story, nothing else on the tray. Simply the worst F class meal ever.

On the other hand, the salmon salad looked good, at least.

Oh yeah - no coffee, tea, hot towels or fully working lavatories, as the plane's water supply did not work.

Should I ask for compensation?
