This happened to me a few months back at YVR as well, and I must say I found the yellow-jacketed security guy most annoying. It is a pain to get out the wallet, get out the sleeved card, remove the card from the sleeve, and reverse all of that when the NEXUS kiosk will recognise me just fine by my irises alone.
