Here is some more than I have learned:

The Luftikid is a prototype developed by LH Technik and no carriers have yet undertaken the considerable modifications to hardware (cabin) and software (CRS for requesting it in a PNR ahead of departure) that are required. It is therefore on hold indefinitely.

A list of child restraints that are suitable for use on LH aircraft is currently being compiled. We hope to communicate the first part of that list sometime this summer (models available in Germany and parts of Europe), the second part should be ready in autumn (rest of Europe and North America).
