I stayed at the Fisherman's Wharf Hilton earlier this month and had the $2 energy surcharge. Nothing was said about it at the front desk but, a note about it was in the room key envelope, on the bed upon arrival and under the door in the morning.

I should have thought of the Attorney General, but at least it was only one night.
