We live in SHG and travel back home with BA and was hoping someone could help us on allowances as regards pushchairs.

From reading the thread about ZRH airport I can see that it will depend on the airport on whether the pushchair can be taken to the gate or needs to be checked in but I could not get a view on the collaspibilty, weight etc limits.
Can Someone let me know the following:
1. does it need to be collaspable - what happens if seperate bassinet?
2. Is there a weight limit?

For air travel in general, may I recommend the Maclaren Techno XT - folds downs v small (as do all the Maclarens), it can be used from birth and is VERY sturdy - BA and various other carriers (FR
, 9W) have not managed to break it yet!
We have always been able to take it to the gate (if we wanted) and on some occasions (in Club) we've been able to take it onboard and it's been stowed in the wardrobe ^
