I managed to get into the SQ SKL on my previous trip out of SYD ... they open at 1pm (if I am not wrong) and there was no other SQ passenger in sight yet so they were basically empty.

I was directed to the NZ lounge next door but I said that this is clearly a *G lounge and it was really crowded in the NZ lounge right now and my flight to LAX will be leaving in a short while so I will not be here for too long. She let me in without much fuss.

On my way out, I asked her for her name and told her that I appreciated her thoughtfulness and wanted to relay positive feedback to SQ.
