Great info everyone ^ (especially Priority Clubber Lang ^^^).

Having read all this what amazes me is that any of the IHG hotels agree to be part of the 'Pointsbreaks' award thing.

With people booking themselves into a hotel for e.g. for a whole month a total of just 150,000 PC points, and the hotel only getting say $30 per night for that, surely the hotels make a huge loss here that just can't be rationalised by the customers F&B spend etc etc?!?

Or have I missed something, or is there a special arrangement IHG makes with the hotels when it comes to the 'Pointsbreak' awards?
