SQ is not so great on lounge access and it degrades the value of being *G. I've had issues in Sydney trying to get into the Silver Kris lounge and in Singapore the business class lounge is separate from the *G lounge and while the *G lounge in T3 is fine, the same is not the case in T2.
I've had issues with the SQ lounge in SYD too, not that I cared cause the NZ lounge makes it look like an RCC so its no biggie but once I wanted to F lounge hop and got denied, other times I've been allowed so ....YMMV. The SFO lounge though Ive been in three times now and never a prob.
