Hi there, I should have mentioned that I'm travelling with hand luggage only and the flight departs at 08:55 from T5.
Will print my boarding pass the day before.
Staying in the Heathrow Hilton so have to factor travel from the hotel to the terminal.

There is a free (was few months ago) bus service that takes from Hilton T4 to T5, works like a dream, just make sure you get the timings the night before and be there slightly early as they leave very sharp (I got stung once by 1 minute).
Big question is whether you are a morning person or not? Also suggest less likely to want drinking time. My experience is security on a Saturday particular at that time of the morning is a definate lottery, I have been mega a busy to breeze through. I suppose I'm suggesting the variability can be lot more on a Saturday then say a weekday morning which is pretty likely to be busy.
