Just a quick question for the experts. I'm going on vacation in August, and have stays at various Marriotts around the US planned. I will need two rooms. For example, I might need a night at a hotel somewhere around LAX. If I book, for example:

- 1 room at the The Renaissance LAX Montura for August 1;
- 1 room at the The Marriott LAX for August 1;

Would this count as two different stays? I've read somewhere (I think) this wouldn't count as two nights, but, seeing as the hotels differ, would this count? I understand that two rooms at the same hotel count as one stay, but haven't found any info on this.
