Canada has to be the most spectacular vacation I've ever been on, so I'm biased but;

Fly to Calgary, hire car to Banff for a 3 night stay, hire car along the spectacular Icefields Parkway to Jasper for a 2 night stay, Rocky Mountaineer to Vancouver with an overnight stop in Kamloops, ending with a 4 night stay in Vancouver (fly home from Vancouver).

Some spectacular scenery including Lake Louse, Moraine Lake, Peyto Lake, Johnston Canyon, Bird's Foot Glacier and Athabasca Glacier and the chance for some wildlife spotting. Also, some very nice 5* Fairmont hotels in Canada, such as the Fairmont Banff Springs and Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge. The Rocky Mountaineer is truly spellbinding.
