Interesting thing discovered last weekend... it can be over 24 hours...online...

If held via Alaska Airlines Reservations... (at least via the phone - and I guess the airport would be the same) it is a 24 hour hold... no rounding involved. (Also, if held via a live agent, can't ticket via the internet from what we could find)
