China Eastern arrives into Terminal 2. ANA leaves from Terminal 3. You would be changing terminals. If you can't change airlines, next try at your first check in with China Eastern, is to get bags interlined all the way. Then you only have to worry about getting yourself and carry on to the (free) inter-terminal shuttle bus. Failing that, pick up your bags at Terminal 2 domestic claim, take everything over to Terminal 3 departure via the shuttle bus, and recheck in with ANA. With 3+ hours, you should have plenty of time to deal with even the recheck scenario, that's a decent time cushion even if the MU flight gets in an hour late.
He paid full F for the segment in question, which means he can do whatever he so pleases... as long as he gives ctrip a head's up. If were in his shoes, I'd turn it back into cash and hit BJ on the the night prior to the Japan flight (in the absence of a really, really good story, NH doesn't permit routing changes).
