Actually, there was a BOS-DCA portion of the 'Delta Shuttle' for a couple of years that was phased out in 2001. It operated 9 flights a day each way using mainline shuttle planes/crews and operated out of the Shuttle gates (at the time that would be Terminal A in Boston...the old Terminal A, not the new one). You might be surprised to know that there was a long an interesting history to the Delta/Pan-Am shuttle before Shuttle America ever showed up.
