The Hong Kong Conrad is wonderful. We were just there in March. We are diamond members, so they immediately upgraded us to the Executive level (they did this even on an award stay). The executive level includes free pressing of 4 pieces of clothing, access to the lounge, welcome tea, chocolates in your room (replenished nightly), any English speaking paper you want delivered to your room (we always had 3), your choice of breakfast through room service, the lounge or the restaurant downstairs and fruit in your room (replenished nightly). The lounge is great. Complimentary newspapers there as well, full cooked breakfast (eggs, bacon, sausages, potatoes, smoked salmon,breads, congee, dim sum, noodles, soy fish, cheese, fruit, juices, coffe and tea). They also have hight tea in the afternoon with sweets and sandwiches and then happy hour from 5-7 with a full buffet and complimentary drinks.
The pool is fantastic with an attendant there to get you towels and an outdoor jacuzzi. They also have a great grill by the pool. We ate at the chinese restaurant and were not disappointed. The hotel is attached to Pacific Plaza and the Admirality Center so there is plenty of shopping opportunities, food courts (if you miss American food), and access to the MTR. We always have our clothes dry cleaned in the Admirality Center to save $$. The hotel also runs a shuttle to the Star Ferry.
