Yes, but since we're talking about $50 v. $150 (as opposed to $700 v. $800), and $100 is sufficient to provide for a decent amount of fun in either city (or at least a nicer hotel room), I'm a firm believer in cheap fares. Furthermore, I stand by my "pillow seat" recommendations during years' past (for solo travelers).

On the other hand, if you happen to catch a busy season when fares are expensive, and the fare differential is closer to $40, C is worth the extra coin IMO.
