I have to disagree with you. U get what u pay for. Hotel is actually decent, clean. Staffs are very helful. Take about 15 mins or less to ride from airport to hotel. I would not consider it as long time. After all, it's FREE.

When I got in (about 5pm I think) we had to wait an hour for the shuttle (in the bus place which took ages to find, was 38 degrees with people milling around smoking constantly!). The actually drive took probably 10 mins, you're right.
On the way back in the morning (~6am) there were no shuttles, and we had to pay for a taxi. Again, YMMV!
If it were me, I'd probably check out the lounges - I think there's one somewhere were you can pay $35US for 5 hours or something? Good if you don't have lounge access through other means.
