All how you look at it, I look at the award ticket as a rebate for spending four or five figures in other business. They look at it as a "gift". In business you don't have to be good, just provide a product (I have a hard time calling it a "service", and to shine, just be better than your competition. Looking at the airline industry being better than your competition isn't that difficult.
