One time I did something simular, no taxi wanted to take me from Garhoud to Abu Hail (because then there was LOTS of Sharjah traffic), said bur dubai and he let me in, as soon as I closed the door I said I changed my mind and wanted to go to Abu Hail, he was swearing at me in Urdu for the whole trip, driving even worse then normal Dubai taxidrivers!

Anyway, getting from T1/3 to 2 is easy, just get in a cab, they'll take you no problem
