Just wanted to come back and put in an update about this. I think Hyatt has figured out this was previously a problem in the past and added one day to their computer programs to check for eligibility.

I had a one-night stay on April 30th, checking out May 1st. The stay posted 2 days later and then within 24 hours after that my Stay 8, Get 20k miles bonus posted automatically. I was all ready to call GP after 24 hours thinking it wouldn't post, but it did with no effort on my part. Kudos to GP for fixing what had been a small problem in past promos.....................................^^^^^^
