Done deal, 1 statement has statement closed, it's a purchase
Well, if anyone is interested...

My PPE statement closed. It in deed was a $5000 purchase. Earned a nice 15,000 TYP's on that (on a retention offer where I earn a bonus 2 TYP's per dollar spent).

Should earn 10K AAdvantage miles on my other card when it closes (retention offer there earning a bonus AAdvantage mile per dollar spent -- capping at 10K).
