Of course! Once again - Gold VIP status entitles you to all the published Gold benefits (see http://www.hilton.com/hhonors/benefits/levels.html ) - upgrades, free breakfast, free health club access, etc.

In addition to Gold VIP benefits, Gold Preferred has a guaranteed Reservation availability if booked 48 hours in advance (same as Diamond VIP). As far as I know, there are no other benefits for Gold Preferred above and beyond those for Gold VIP.
