Will you answer your phone when everyone is quietly watching the movie in the theatre? If you go to theatre, then you should prepare not to bother the other audience with your cell phone, same is in the long haul flight, then you should prepare not to bother the others with your window shade.
It's not the same at all!

The prime reason for being on the plane is to get from A to B. How people spend their time whilst getting from A to B is entirely up to them, whether it's looking out of the window or watching a movie. Neither takes precedence over the other.

The prime reason for going to the cinema is to watch the film, so yes, somebody talking on a mobile phone is wrong.
