For the Banff Springs, there is street parking on the road that leads up to the Banff springs that is free (park only on the right side of the street when driving away from the hotel). However, it is sometimes full from all of the people driving up just to get a look at the Banff Springs. If you plan on parking your car for the weekend, there are some residential streets about a 5 minute walk from the Banff Springs that you can park on if the street parking is full.

There is a parking lot near Chateau Lake Louise, again, for day trip visitors (but you can park overnight). It is about 5 minutes to walk to the hotel, and is free. It is through a small, but well travelled trail.
